The Incipient Ibis

So of course the idea came about when while we were drinking.

He was suggesting things I could do with a weblog. I'd complained about posting on my old one and he said, why not do something new, about a topic or something? And I do like cocktails and the history of them. I could do that, I though, emboldened by some Dutch Courage. But it needed a name.

I've long adored Tony Millionaire's "Drinky Crow" character from his Maakies comic, and jokingly decided to come up with his cousin, Imibey-Ibis. The giggling fit lasted about five minutes. Ten minutes later I had a domain registered for the next five years. Darn you, credit card!

So this little jazz bird will tell you about the cocktails he loves, learns about, looks forward to, etc. Welcome!
